Who can volunteer at an NGO?
A volunteer can be anyone who wants to work for an organization voluntarily and without pay.
A volunteer can work at an NGO, but also at a parish, a community center, a school or a hospital. In all of these establishments, volunteers can be engaged in supporting activities stated in the charter, particularly in the spheres of public benefit (listed in Article 4 of the Act on Public Benefit Activity).
Volunteers may not support the conduct of business activities - whether conducted by NGOs or private enterprises.
Minors may become volunteers subject to the consent of their legal guardians.
